This project was a blast! 1000’ of roadway “Root Raked” with over 10 loads of ABC stone to give a 3” material base. We then built a 120’x180’ homesite pad which started by root raking the existing ground, pulling all stumps, and rough grading. We then went in and dug a .25 acre pond which allowed us to accumulate enough dirt to raise the homesite pad up 1.5’ to ensure a proper grade and drainage in the future. The pond was dug to save money on the cost of hauling in dirt. All in all this project turned out awesome and we can’t wait to come back for the finish grading in the future!

LAND CLEARING

Featured here is a Land Clearing project which consisted of cutting in and building an 800’ roadway and clearing a one acre area for a future homesite. Carolina EarthWerx started by knocking down all of the trees being removed. We then went through and sectioned all the logs, separating logs, branches, stumps, and root mat. We root raked the ground and rough graded the property so it is ready to be built on. This customer chose to have the debris piled on site. When we left this project, it was ready for roadways, foundations, and building to begin!
